Announcing site improvements!
I have been in the process of improving the site and adding additional functionality. The start of these improvement began last week when I moved the site from the Wordpress.com platform to a using a hosted solution. By using a seperate web hosting company, I have more control over plugins and layout of the site. You might have noticed some front end improvement including:
- Related Websites and Posts links in my articles
- Ability to share to social networking sites like facebook, twitter, digg
- Use of a new Wordpress theme
- Mobile friendly content!
I have also added some things on the backend of the site to make operations run smoother with things like Google Analytics and Sitemaps builder. Additionally I know that there is still alot of work left to be done. Here is what I have for a to do list:
- Find new header images for main page. I promise I will use some of my travel photos
- Install photo gallery and begin uploading travel photos
- Do more networking through twitter and internet forums to promote the site
- Continue to be on the look out for useful Wordpress plugins
What I would like is to hear from you! Please leave a comment or send me an e-mail at tim AT timsadventures dot com. I need your input in how to make my site better. I look forward to focusing on providing interesting posts and improving the site.
