Announcing a New Page on TimsAdventures.com – Travel Gear
I’m pleased to announce another improvement to TimsAdventures.com – the addition of a Travel Gear Page. A Travel Gear Page is something that has been on my to do list for awhile now. With my trip to China, it made since for me to create a page of the gear that I am using in case other travelers needed suggestions for what they should pack.
You will also notice that on the Travel Gear Page the phrase “Review Coming Soon” for each item on page. As I post reviews for each item, I wanted to create a page where it would be easy to readers to find the reviews after the review is posted. What I plan on doing is posting the review link next to the specific item to accomplish this goal.
I have more improvements in mind for the site. I’m fairly happy with the theme and site layout but appreciate any feedback readers might have. I’m looking forward to creating a similar gear page for my Bike Gear. I’m trying to determine how best to host or manage images posted to the site. I’ve been thinking about using SmugMug.com or a gallery manager plug-in but haven’t made any decisions yet. Finally, I want to tune the plug-ins I am using the on-site and look for additional features to add via plug-ins.
